Does the plugin work without a paid API?
Yes. Keyword suggestions, Search Console CSV import, Site Crawl, link checks, SEO tasks and the local dashboard work without paid API credentials.
Why is DataForSEO needed?
Reliable Google rank tracking cannot be done from ordinary shared hosting for many users. Google often blocks direct automated checks. DataForSEO provides a stable SERP API that returns structured results.
How much does rank tracking cost?
For small projects it is usually very low. Example: 30 keywords checked daily on one search engine is about 900 SERP requests per month. DataForSEO pricing depends on endpoint and mode, so always check your DataForSEO account.
Is there a free DataForSEO test?
DataForSEO usually provides a small test credit after registration. Conditions can change, so the first test should use one keyword and depth 30 to keep costs minimal.
What does 401 mean?
Usually wrong API login/password, or the normal DataForSEO account password was used instead of the API password from API Access.
What does 403 mean?
The DataForSEO account is probably not verified yet or API access is not enabled. Complete verification in the DataForSEO panel and test again.
Can it track Seznam?
Yes, SEO Rank Radar supports Google and optionally Seznam for Czech projects when the configured SERP provider supports it.
Why does a keyword show not found?
The measurement worked, but the tracked domain was not found in the selected search depth. Try depth 100, a more specific keyword, or wait until the site ranks.
Do I need to enter a target URL?
No. You can start with only a keyword. When rank data is available, the plugin stores the URL found in search results, so you can see which page actually ranks. Target URL is only an optional check when you want to watch a specific landing page.
What should I test first?
Start with one keyword that you already know ranks. Use depth 30, click Test Rank API, then click Measure API for that keyword.
What is Managed Rank API?
It is a central SEO Rank Radar API for agencies or paid plans. It can use one central provider account instead of requiring every client site to configure DataForSEO.
Can I create PDF reports?
The plugin generates HTML reports that can be printed or saved as PDF from the browser. Paid plans unlock richer reporting and sharing options.
Where is my data stored?
Plugin data is stored in your WordPress database. External services are contacted only for features that require them, such as rank tracking, licenses, PageSpeed or Search Console API sync.
